General Instructions

Absence and Leave

  1. Student shall be not absent from the school without leave application from the parent/guardian.

  2. Leave applications on medical grounds must be supported by Medical Certificates from registered medical practitioners.

  3. Request for short leave will not be encouraged. If at a day, child’s presence is required at home, he/she should not be sent to school that day.

  4. For long absence (for more than 3 days), prior permission is needed. Unexplained absence renders the student liable to have her name struck off the rolls.

  5. A student returning to school after an infectious or contagious disease should produce a fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner permitting to attend the class.

Uniform


The students should always be neatly dressed and respect their school uniform by always wearing it properly.


Gender Neutral and Standard Dress code for all classes:

Summer:

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays - Green Shirt + Beige dungaree /Shorts / Pants

Wednesdays & Saturdays – Sky blue T Shirt and Navy Lower

Footwear: All days black shoes and black socks.


Winter: Black Uniform Sweater. (Only Black hats/caps/gloves/mittens/inners/tights will be permitted). In case of extreme cold, students will be permitted to wear plain denims (jeans) of blue colour along with the Black Uniform Sweater.

Note:


The school uniform forbids the use of jewellery, henna, mehndi and makeup. Long nails with nail polish are not part of the uniform.

Any child with long hair must pin up the hair and use rubber bands / hairbands to keep their hair tidy. Nails must be trimmed regularly. Fancy sandals, chappals, flip-flops, colourful footwear is not permitted.


School Bus rules

  1. All students should obey the respective staff/ monitor/driver and the conductor of the bus.

  2. Misbehaviour in the bus may result in the student’s bus facilities being withdrawn.

  3. A month’s notice must be given before withdrawing from using the bus facility or one month’s fee in lieu of notice.

  4. Students are not permitted to add a new stop for their convenience.

  5. Parents are requested to note that the bus routes are planned to suit the convenience of the majority who use this bus, hence routes cannot be changed to suit individual needs.

  6. Parents must apply if the child wishes to use a different bus route on any day (This is only for bus users)
